It offers a delicate tingling sensation on the tip of the tongue. This subtle "perling" sensation is characteristic of Gros Plant sur Lie. During fermentation and through to its completion, the wine’s solid particles settle and form a deposit at the bottom of the vat : the lees. The wine remains in contact with these lees throughout the winter, contributing to its freshness and distinctive character.
