Since 1803, the "Baronnière" belongs to the descendants of Baron Arnous-Rivière.

The vineyard of "Château de la Baronnière" is planted in "Melon de Bourgogne" producing the famous "Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire sur Lie" old vines, as well as vine variety "Pinot Beurot" or "Pinot Gris", called Malvoisie.

The vineyard of the Château is certified High Environmental Value since the 2019 vintage.

Certification allows the identification of farms engaged in particularly environmentally friendly approaches.

We preserve biodiversity in our plots by conserving hedges, trees, ditches and water bodies but also by using alternative practices reducing the treatment of our crops to allow our nature to reinvest the places.

The certification also aims to guide consumers in their search for healthier and more environmentally friendly products.
